A global study of wildlife, Journey North contains classroom materials, updated studies and other scientific research that tracks the journeys of several migratory species. More than 200,000 students from some 4,000 schools participate in this awesome site's collection of data, often sharing insights and field observations on species that are indigenous to their local areas. Covering everything from bald eagles to humpback whales to monarch butterflies, the site offers a fascinating and instructive look into why the creatures around us migrate and where they go when they do.
